Mullum Bots are your life and work agents. These terms cover the early-access trial.

Every Mullum Bot has its own email address. You can forward emails to it, or send it instructions from your own email address. It acts only on emails from your email address, and it confirms with you in the chat before doing anything.

A free trial

Mullum is in early access. The trial is free. It may change, or end, at any time; where we can, we'll tell you in the chat before it ends.

These terms will be updated as we keep developing Mullum. Your Mullum Bot will let you know in the chat when they change.

Your Mullum Bot is an AI agent

Your Mullum Bot is an AI agent, not a person, and it will never claim to be one. It can make mistakes, so check anything important before you rely on it. It does not send email for you or speak for you to anyone else.

Your Mullum Bot is gaining new capabilities all the time. As and when it can connect safely to your other services, such as read-only access to your email accounts, it will let you know and connect only with your OK.

Keep secrets out of the chat

Never send passwords or very sensitive personal information, such as bank, card or health details, in the chat.

What we store

Your name, nickname, mobile number and email address: to sign you up, confirm it's you, and contact you about the trial. They are stored encrypted.

Your conversations with your Mullum Bot and what you ask it to remember: kept in your agent's own storage, separate from everyone else's, so it can help you.

When you send a message, our front door holds an encrypted copy of it only until your agent takes it, and then removes it.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

Deleting your information

Ask your Mullum Bot to forget something and it will be removed from its memories. To leave the trial and delete your information, send /delete in the chat. We'll ask you to confirm with a button, then tell you your request has been received and that we'll tell you when it's done. We will then:

• remove your agent and its separate storage, including your conversations and everything it remembered;
• erase your name, nickname, mobile number, email address and Telegram chat id from our records;
• end your chat's link to your agent.

We keep only an anonymous record: your agent's number, the dates it was set up and deleted, and which versions of Mullum it ran on. Your agent's own email address is retired and never given to anyone else. When it's done, we'll tell you in the chat.

Using Mullum fairly

Please don't use Mullum to break the law, to harm anyone, or to pretend to be someone else.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
